I'm so happy today. My comics just made it to the "Top 10 New Pinoy Komiks Characters" in SPOT.ph site. Kalayaan has just been lined up with Andong Agimat, Trese and Zsazsa Zaturnnah. I'm just speechless.

Japan Quake

We had just communicated with my sister in law in Japan through internet. Thank GOD that they are safe. She told me that she live in Nagoya Komaki where it is far away from Sendai where the Quake was at its worst.

Let us hope and pray that this will not happen in the Philippines.

Ang Daming Ranger

Komikon committee is really gearing up for the coming Summer Komikon. And I am all set to go. I have just printed a substantial amount of my comics inventory (no more cramming on the last few days or the day before the event). And I just recently released and distributed Kalayaan #11. All system is set to go.

So don't forget, April 16,2011 (Saturday) at Bayanihan Center, Pasig City.

Comic Odyssey Sale

Kalayaan 11 delivery

I just finished my delivery of Kalayaan #11 at Comic Odyssey Robinsons Galleria and Sputnik comic shop in Cubao. The latest issue of Kalayaan is now available and all back issues are still available as well.

Kalayaan 11 finished

All the pages of Kalayaan #11 are finished. Lettering duty starts today. Tentative delivery this Friday or Saturday at your favorite comic book store. And as usual, there are a handful of great people created a Kalayaan fan art.

Kalayaan 11 Page 14

Only two(2) more pages and Kalayaan #11 is ready to be printed. Sa wakas malapit na ring matapos. I have already printed 10 pieces of the cover. I was testing my new CIS (Continues Ink System) modified Canon Pixma printer. And so far, it has performed pretty well. No more dirty hand for me because of manually injecting each cartridge. It certainly made my life easier.

Gio the Farmer

We just had our second harvest of our lettuce plant. And I might say that our harvest is pretty yummy looking. My kids was also happy helping me during the harvesting process. My wife was a little bit sceptical at first when I said that I was going to plant a lettuce on our terrace condominium. Well, she is not sceptical now. :-)

When I was still young, me and my father used to spend a lot of time in our backyard of our old house in caloocan. It is something that I miss very much since I got married. I imagine my self when I retire someday that I would just plant vegetables and fruits for my family. No more worrying too much on many things. Just relaxing and enjoying the fresh air with my plants.

Mysteries in Life

One of the mysteries in life that I could not figure out is that why does medical doctors and medical student smoke cigarette? I mean, it is a common knowledge that smoking is medically dangerous to your health. Isn't that what they teach in medical schools? I am not a doctor but I know about it, that is why I do not smoke.

I really just don't get this thing.

Thank you very much to those who attended the two Saturday signing of SULYAP anthology in Powerbooks Greenbelt Makati and Powerbooks Mall of Asia. Here are the pictures of the first Saturday in Makati.

All eight of us did a sketch (it's kind of an artjam) of our individual character for the Powerbooks people in greenbelt.

Thanks to Maika and Tepai for providing that delicious chocolate cake after the event. Medyo masama na nga ang tingin ni Macoy. Gutom na siguro. :D
